Have a lot of good certification programs including; PHTLS (Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support), AMLS (Advanced Medical Life Support) and EPC (Emergency Pediatric Care). They have some other things as well like articles, member resources and yadayada. But the best parts are the education certs they provide. www.naemt.org

Put on by NAEMT. PHTLS podcast provides some great recordings of lectures, briefings, conferences, and other material to listen to when your working out, on the road, or whatever. www.phtlspodcast.com

 

Journal of Emergency Medical Services

JEMS (Journal of Emergency Medical Services). Good articles from recent research, EMS news, and some good training articles as well. Recommend looking at the columns by the editors, they have the best material. www.jems.com

NPAs are great airways. Personally this is my favorite simple airway. Can be used on nearly every one, and even a monkey could be taught how to put it in. More

 

 

 

Saline Lock

Saline Locks are great for those patients who don’t necessarily need IV fluids but you do need access to. In the militaries case they can be useful for that trauma you have. More
